Dean Lontos

Dean Lontos

Founder & Managing Partner

Dean Lontos is the Founder and Managing Partner of Altivar Capital, where he leads the firm's mission to build and scale private lending platforms nationwide. With over 20 years of experience in private credit, Dean has originated, managed, and serviced more than 4,000 loans through Altivar and its affiliates.

Dean is also a co-founder of Kalterra, a Texas-based real estate investment and development firm focused on Class A multifamily and mixed-use projects. He has completed more than $2 billion in real estate transactions, bringing deep expertise in capital formation, structured finance, and strategic growth. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Loy Shaw

Loy Shaw

Founder & Managing Partner

Loy Shaw is a Founder and Managing Partner of Altivar Capital, bringing more than 25 years of experience in commercial, multifamily, and single-family real estate ownership and finance. He has played a key role in capitalizing, training, and mentoring multiple hard money lending startups across the United States.

Previously, Loy served as Managing Director for a real estate investment fund manager that deployed over $450 million of equity into distressed acquisitions and opportunistic financing strategies. Loy holds a B.S. in Finance from Georgetown University.

Austin Meadows

Austin Meadows

Managing Director

Austin Meadows serves as Managing Director of Altivar Capital, where he leads the firm's business development and capital markets strategy. With more than 7 years of principal, lending, and investment experience, he has contributed to over $1 billion in acquisition, development, lending, and asset management activity since 2018.

Prior to Altivar, Austin held senior roles at Culver Investment Partners, Kalterra Capital Partners, Bay Mountain Capital, and Triple Crown Investments. He holds a BS in Finance with a Real Estate emphasis from Texas Christian University and is based in Dallas, Texas.
